Being a homeowner has been always seen as a matter of prestige. In fact, for many of us the idea of “settling down” has always been defined by owning a house. As expensive as it may seem, buying a house is a dream for all of us. But the question is WHEN?

Buying a house is one of the biggest dreams for almost everyone. However, since buying a home is one of the major financial decisions of our lives, this is indeed a huge decision to make. Therefore in my advice, you must always take a pre-planned and disciplined approach towards bringing your dream home to reality.
Buying a home largely depends on your personal situation. As such, in today's blog, we will highlight five important points that are relevant to today's home buyer world.
1) The Pandemic Influence
The past 2 years everyone's experience with COVID-19 have undeniably shown how important it is to own your home. As these challenging times continue, shelter and protection have become more important than ever. In addition to serving as a safe haven for our loved ones, houses are also turned into personal offices, schools, and even theaters, for the residents!
However, the aftermath of the widespread pandemic established the fact that owning a house is the most viable option for everyone, especially for those who preferred renting apartments before the pandemic. There are plenty of reasons that define this necessity.
2) In The Near Future, Home Prices Are Expected To Rise
An article by the Next Advisor reads that housing prices are expected to rise over the next six months. Ultimately, as the home prices are going to increase throughout the year, some buyers may find themselves priced out. Historically, home prices have continued to surge year after year, and as the demand for houses keeps increasing so does the price level.
3) Home Discount and Incentives
With builders offering discounts, low-interest rates and sometimes closing costs, industry experts and other professionals believe that this may be a good time to buy a home for potential home buyers. Over the past month, several banks have cut their home loan rates. Even though it reflects high liquidity and low-interest rates, the cut also indicates that there is a booming market for new home loans and no bank would ever want to miss out on this. This is why the industry professionals feel that this time is highly suitable for home buyers.
4) An intelligent Investment
Additionally, with a purchase now, you can start accumulating equity immediately! Yes, you read that right, Investing now will allow you to build equity right away. It applies regardless of the direction the real estate market is leaning at the time. However, buying now means you won't have to worry about additional mortgage-rate increases down the
road.
5) It's Time To Move On To The Next Chapter
You can already see why now is a good time to buy your own home. In the event we disregard these factors, would you still choose to buy a home now?
Why not? Generally, when we finish climbing one step, only then do we tend to move on to the next. Our efforts, finances, and planning get stuck when we focus on one particular goal until it becomes a reality. On that account, getting the pre-things done is the first step to unfolding new chapters.
Hence, the fact that now is an ideal time to buy is the icing on the cake.
